Hello Family and Friends ❤️
As many of you are aware, my mother Nellie Palafox recently passed in the early hours of Thursday morning 7/14. My beautiful, loving and crazy mother was surrounded with so much love during her last days with us, and I will forever be so thankful to all that held me and my siblings in their hearts and prayers as we faced this extremely difficult time.
I created this fundraiser to ease the weight of financial costs of cremation services and all that it entails. I also would love to be able to provide some sort of keepsake for me and my 4 siblings so that we can continue have my momma close to us no matter where we are.
These funds will also go towards the costs of helping me give my mom a celebration of life that she very much deserved. When me and my mother would speak about when this time were to ever come, she made it very clear that she did not want a gathering in a typical funeral service environment that can primarily be clouded with heavy feelings of mourning and grief. She instead wanted her all family and friends to gather in celebration of her time with us here in this life. What she loved most was party it up with her favorite oldies/old school jams blasting, being surrounded with family laughing and reminiscing about old times/catching up with each other,watching her younger nieces/nephews/cousins/grandchildren running around having fun, while we all have some good food and of course some cold drinks.
So that’s what we are going to do ❤️
I’ll say it again a thousand times, but thank you to all that ever put a smile on my moms face and shined love and light into her life. I love you all so much ❤️
