For my mom’s recovery from Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Jessica and I have never imagined I would be writing this. My mom has recently been diagnosed with invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). Luckily, she was able to catch it early on but will be going under treatment starting next month.

She’s been the sole income-maker for my family (with my dad receiving disability) for the past 12 yrs. Her income has been JUST ENOUGH to afford myself and my sisters’ college tuitions and household essentials. The news of her diagnosis has definitely been hard for her both physically and mentally.

She understands the importance of the treatment but has been stressed her 5-yr recovery would limit the income she’ll be able to provide to my family.

The funds raised here will be used to help my mom recover from surgery and radiation treatment and to cover any costs that will arise while she’s resting at home. My sisters and I want my mom to finally be able to focus on HER health the next couple of years without the stress of working 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week.
