Hello, my name is Misty, I’m starting this go fund me for my mother Sandra Red. She was diagnosed with 2 rare forms of cancer in October of 2017 . Multiple myeloma, and MDS . These two cancers attack her blood and organs and also her bone marrow and bones.  Recently her oncologist informed her that the blood cancer institute in Denver , seems to have ran out of treatment to advise them on here in Durango , CO and told us her best chance to increase her life was to get back to the East Coast or set up hospice, he urged us to leave that day in July 30th where  they have more medical school hospitals “ colleges” and treatments for these rare forms of cancer better research and specialist. In all reality when we started on this journey with my mom they had a plan and were telling us she would be fine. And she would need a stem cell transplant and that would heal her. Those were lies. They never tried to complete those plans and basically ran my moms insurance and have reached the limit of charges and have dropped the ball and chooses not to take responsibility and now we are in a race to get her back East.  This is not how I wanted to get the money for my mom but, we need help. This is a huge move and extremely expensive . I have done fundraising, working full time and tried every avenue possible to get the funds needed but it’s still not enough at this point.. my family is asking that if you have it in these crazy times we are all in and can help us we would be extremely grateful and promise to pay it forward when ever we can.  We are all moving to be with my mom so we all can work together and be there for her at this time. These funds will go to her housing cost and for gas, food, and uhaul  to make this move across country to Virginia where we have found the Massey Cancer Center in Richmond. Her first appt. is on September 4th. Prayers are extremely welcomed and needed at this time .. and we love and appreciate all of you.. Thank you ..
