My name is Judy Devany-Clark! I am starting this on behalf of my great- niece Samantha Firks.
Her husband Jeff became very sick September 10, 2016. He is 37 and has Myelodysplastic/Myeloproliferative Neoplasm. Which is cancer of the blood. This is a very rare cancer; 3 out of 100,000. He just received his third chemo treatment , radiation, and cord blood/stem cell transplant. He will need to stay in Denver for three months once he gets out of the hospital.
She is in Denver by his side currently until Christmas break is over. She will then travel back and forth on the weekends which is a 5 hour drive. She works as a para educator and goes to school full time. They have two daughters, Kaylee who is 9 and Lauren who is 5 are at Grandma and Grandpa's which is a great help.
