I’ve spent years showing up for everyone else as a CNA, as a mom, as a partner, as a sister, and as a friend. I’ve carried the weight with a smile, even when I felt like I was falling apart.

There were nights I cried alone, wondering if my dream of becoming a nurse was meant for someone else someone with more time, more money, or more support.

But I never gave up.

I worked through exhaustion. I pushed through doubt. I kept moving forward for my children, for the patients I care for every day, and for the future I knew was possible if I just kept going.

Today, I’m a year into nursing school and working tirelessly to earn my BSN. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I’ve hit one of the biggest obstacles yet.

I recently learned I’ll have nearly $15,000 in tuition and educational expenses to finish my degree far more than I expected. Because nursing school requires so much of my time, I’ve had to significantly reduce my work hours, making it incredibly difficult to keep up with tuition, housing, and everyday living expenses. My employer offers tuition reimbursement, but only after I’ve already paid the costs upfront.

I’m doing everything I can. I’m applying for financial aid appeals, scholarships, and every resource available. I’m working whenever my class and clinical schedule allows. I’m simply asking for a little help getting across the finish line.

I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking for a chance to finish what I’ve worked so hard to begin.

Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement helps me stay focused on my goal of becoming a registered nurse and building a more stable future for my family.

If you’ve ever had to fight twice as hard for your dreams, then you know how much this journey means.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting my dream, and being part of my story.
