Hello everyone!
We are writing this fundraising post on behalf of our good friends, Ranjanben (Rani) and Nilesh Patel! They are both loving parents who have made their homes in South Carolina and have worked hard from the day they set foot in this state!
Rani was miraculously saved by a group of good citizens when her car was struck from behind by a tractor trailer on her way home from her job at Wal-Mart. God and good pedestrians saved her that day: those heroes names are Jason Thompson, Andrew Crowe and McKinley Turner.
and Wendy Holman . Please see the article attached to see how these men saved the life of this mother of two small kids!
Rani and Nilesh are facing hard and uncertain times ahead. Rani has multiple fractures and has been hospitalized for the better part of the month. She is unable to work or provide childcare for her children. She has a traumatic head injury, a broken collar bone, and a fractured neck.
Nilesh has worked nights at a factory for several years and has had to take a family emergency leave to provide care for their children, Chandni and Veer, who are only 11 and 9 years old. The children have not attended school since the accident and have been staying nights with friends of the family while Nilesh stays with Rani.
Chandni, who is only 11 years old, has had to grow up fast and help with house duties as well as help with her little brother. They are the sweetest kids and have stepped up in big ways!
The medical bills, plus everyday life bills are adding up significantly and while it hurts to have to ask for help, this family has found no choice but to reach out to family and friends who have helped as much as possible. Please take a minute to read the full article and if you can, please donate to this wonderful family of four who has worked every day of their lives.
Please say a prayer for the heroes who saved Ranjanben (Rani) Patel in that horrible accident.
