For My Dad’s Life: Help Fund His Cancer Treatment

Hello everyone,

It is with a heavy heart and swollen eyes that I, Tanya George, have to raise funds for my dad's cancer treatment in Mumbai, India.

It is not atypical that someone you know has suffered with cancer in their life; it is indeed a treacherous disease that breaks hearts. Similar to those lives, my dad, Robert George, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer.

This diagnosis has completely shaken our family. My dad is not just a patient, he is a kind, gentle, deeply loving father, a husband, a friend, and a man who has always put others before himself. Now, he is in a fight for his life, and we are reaching out for help.

For over six years, my dad lived in complete isolation due to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). He was essentially quarantined long before the world knew what that word really meant. He fought through the pain, the solitude, and the emotional toll of being disconnected from the outside world. Just two years ago, he started to return to life again, to simple joys, fresh air, and smiling faces. And now, this cruel disease has found him. However, I know he can fight this too, with your help.

His doctors have urgently recommended chemotherapy to give him a chance to fight before the cancer reaches his brain. But the cost of treatment, tests, medications, and ongoing care in India is far more than what my family and I can manage. We’re trying to raise a total of £4,000 to cover these life-saving medical expenses.
