FOR MY BROTHER MIKE WHOM I LOVE.

Hi, my name is Tim Morrell, and I am raising these funds for my brother Mike Morrell. (he is the one on the left in the picture). He will be 70 years old in May. He is currently in the hospital, and He has had diabetes for years. Two weeks ago, he woke up, and one of his toes had turned black. While at the hospital, his circulation in the leg was so bad they ended up amputating the toe. Two more exploratory surgeries later, it was discovered that 2 of the veins were not pumping blood at all. The third one was at 67% loss. The doctors tried putting a stent in the leg. It worked for about 6 hrs, then stopped. It was then decided the best course of action was to amputate the leg under the knee, which they did. It went very well, but he then needed a blood transfusion; he is hoping to start rehab in the coming days, and it will be 3 to 4 weeks of rehab followed by months of hard work.

My brother has been the person taking care of his wife 24 /7 as she has several problems of her own. All the donations gathered here will be used for his living expenses. He is on a fixed income and could barely meet his, and his wife's needs before this happened. Sadly on top of this, they were notified that their rent was going up by $500 a month.

Mike and I have been the closest of the 7 kids in our family. My heart breaks for him right now. I am so grateful to my Father in heaven for keeping him here with us.
