It’s that time of year again – when you’re supposed to make a wish.

Here's mine: I want to make films. Good films.

Here are some of the things I’m working on at the moment.

Vakna (short film)

Vakna is a psychological horror thriller where tension never lets go – instead, it builds slowly and relentlessly toward an inevitable, unsettling climax.

A man is found unconscious in the woods, clutching a strange object. Sara, a nurse, is assigned to care for him. But as he remains unresponsive, strange things begin to happen – and her daughter, Siri, starts to change in ways that seem connected to him.

Meanwhile, Lennart, a local detective, begins to investigate.

Who is this man? What is he carrying? And what has been awakened?

Inspired by directors like Polanski, Friedkin, and Argento, Vakna finds its own voice in a Nordic world – restrained, claustrophobic, and deeply unnerving.

The Toymaker (short film)

The Toymaker is a poetic, dialogue-free short film told in the spirit of a fairytale, where a young girl’s encounter with a mysterious toymaker brings something unexpected to life.

The film unfolds in a richly stylized world reminiscent of early Tim Burton – tactile, dreamlike, and slightly eerie. A quiet story about otherness, recognition, and creating what you never received.

Katharina’s Wish (feature film)

Katharina’s Wish is a time-transcending character drama, following one woman’s journey through desire, betrayal, and self-discovery — a film that is raw, provocative, and fearless.

Told in three pivotal episodes, we meet Katharina – a celebrated photographer whose images have become both her gaze and her shield. When someone from the past unexpectedly appears at her exhibition, she is forced to confront a truth she has long tried to forget.

Katharina’s Wish is a story about a longing to be loved, a fear of abandonment – and a growing need for control.

The film moves through the same emotional landscape as Bitter Moon, Anatomy of a Fall, and Blue Is the Warmest Color – where eroticism is not decoration, but a driving force and a mirror of the inner life.
