Hi, my name is Natasha and I’m starting this fundraiser for my daughter who has Down Syndrome among other diagnoses , like AVSD and pulmonary veins stenosis (pulmonary disease) I feel like life has thrown us a bunch of right and left hooks. We’ve been at UF Shands hospital since November. It hasn’t been the easiest road for our family and we’ve taken a lot of hits from every which way financially mentally and emotionally for us is more that our baby can’t catch a break.Wednesday was a schedule procedure (cath procedure) well it didn’t go as planned Natalie had a hard time coming out of anesthesia which made extubation difficult. Then after they noticed that her limbs on her right side wasn’t moving. So they did an MRI and that Natalia had a stroke in her brain where they saw the blood clot in her brain. She is currently on a EEG machine and fighting for her life. I think the reason why I’m doing this GoFundMe page is more for my baby as well for us. I’m not working I practically live in the hospital because I’m scared of what can happen if I’m not around her. She’s been put on Ecmo she’s had 2 open heart surgeries. Doctors have been saying that Natalia will not make it since the womb and Natalia has been showing everyone that she’s pulling through she’s a happy baby and deserves a happy life, which is all we want for her. I feel embarrassed for even making this page because I’ve always worked but because of this situation it’s put us through a rough patch.
