Help Angelica Recover After Hit and Run Accident
Donation protected
On March 2, 2025, as I was on my way home from work, I became the victim of a hit and run crash. The at fault driver was fleeing the scene of the gas station convenience store he had just robbed. He ran the red light crossing into my path. In his attempt to evade capture, he then jumped out of his car and ran on foot. Thankfully, police successfully apprehended him.
I later learned that the at fault driver stole a 24-pack of Corona, a sandwich, a bag of Doritos, and a Monster Energy drink...$43 worth of goods.
Just three days prior to this incident, I celebrated my birthday. My car is a total loss, which is a major setback for me. The reality that I could have lost my life for $43 in stolen items is frightening.
I am traumatized, in pain and bruised, yet very thankful and grateful to be alive to hug my four year old son. Thank you in advance.
UPDATE:
The at fault driver was taken to the hospital for treatment and managed to leave before police could take him into custody.
This is very disappointing news.
