— Urgent Help Needed for Moroccan Children & Families Devastated by Earthquake —

Dearest Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,

I hope all of you and your families are safe and well.

Following the recent powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquakes in my home country of Morocco, the devastation is clear for all to see. The scale of this tragedy is heart-wrenching, with thousands of lives lost, many people left injured and without homes, and a heartbreaking number of children tragically left without parents. The hardest-hit areas are mostly in the High Atlas Mountains, where winters are harsh with extremely cold temperatures and heavy snowfall. These are mostly small, remote villages that have been severely affected by this disaster.

With a deep sense of duty, I've launched this fundraising campaign to provide vital aid to these families facing dire circumstances. Unfortunately, there are still areas where assistance hasn't been reached, leaving residents without necessities like food, water, and shelter.

The funds we are raising will go directly to a trusted charitable organization in Morocco known as the "Sohbat Khayr" Association, a registered non-profit organization. I have had the privilege of collaborating with them on previous humanitarian projects, and I can attest to their unwavering dedication.

The members of this organization are tirelessly working in the affected villages, making a profound impact on the ground. This initiative is currently in its phase 2 recovery plan, where the organization is using the funds to provide essential kits to families in need. These kits include tents with pallet foundations to prevent water, blankets, rugs, pillows, kitchen equipment, and more.
