For miss delilah

Hi everyone,

as a lot of you would have seen previously our Delilah has had a rough start to life. At two years old she needed her liver transplant.

and that did amazing things for her.

until she started rejecting and they changed her medication.

this medication was not meant to be administered for under a 14 year old.

and this was the beginning of absolute hell.

delilah currently sits in a medically induced coma at the Brisbane children’s hospital.

she has needed a ECMO machine to put oxygen into her blood. She’s fought/fighting pneumonia and her lungs just won’t empty and they just aren’t strong enough on their own.

shes had her heart stop and need cpr for 40 seconds.

she’s is on every medication under the sun.

my poppy is taking so much time off work to support his daughter and granddaughter in these horrible heart breaking times.

he and my nana are driving from Gympie to Brisbane regularly and are putting everything they have into supporting Emily and Delilah.

mentally and financially!

Kylie (Delilah’s aunty and beneficiary of this fundraiser) and I would like to help them as much as possible in all of this as there isn’t an end in sight yet.

which is why we have started this go fund me page.

this support would go towards the people supporting Delilah in these times. This is fuel, groceries, support for Emily, public transport and so much more

anything. Even a couple dollars can help take so much weight off their shoulders.

These funds will then go to my nana and poppy (Gary and Linda Follett) who will then use this money to help support Delilah once she is woken out of her coma and is on her way home. 

Delilah is going to have a long journey of recovery and I want those supporting her to have everything they need.

”Delilah came off all but one drug no oxygen anymore and started physio. She is telling all nurses no. She will still be in hospital for at least another week. She on the road to full recovery”
