"THE FINDING" THAT TURNED OUR LIVES UPSIDE DOWN!

My father's birthday will forever remind me of the day of diagnosis.

When we had an ultrasound to confirm intestinal inflammation, it turned out that Misio had a tumor in his left adrenal gland with changes in his veins and aorta.

Blood is only flowing 25%!!!

The vein and tumor can burst at any moment under the influence of higher stress, there is a risk of venous and pulmonary embolism. The clot can break off, causing death. And yet Misio is a cheerful, energetic dog with the same appetite, without any symptoms of cancer.

Shock and disbelief... After all, half a year ago, in Poland before leaving, we asked for a thorough check-up - unfortunately at that moment we were not informed, as we were abroad, that only a specialist can find the adrenals, that Dr. the person performing the ultrasound in Poland did not find the adrenal glands... We were told that everything was fine, only the gallbladder wall was thickened (currently there are no changes in the gallbladder).

We wanted to prevent a situation like the current one in every way...

Due to the diagnosis, we do not leave Misiek alone, we work in shifts.

I changed jobs and gave up my job - it did not give me flexibility. Our insurance is already shrinking, as are our funds,

traveling to Poland is risky - many things can happen on the way, and we may not have a vet in the area...

Living in England, we wanted to prevent this situation, because we were aware of the costs, so we asked for a thorough check-up of Misiek before leaving. The service was not performed as it should have been, which causes great resentment.

Finding the tumor half a year earlier would have allowed Misiek to have an uncomplicated operation, an even longer perspective of life and would not have burdened us so much financially.

TOMOGRAPHY, ONCOLOGIST AND TREATMENT

Computed tomography showed that the changes are greater than expected.

However, Misio is a member of our family, he feels good, we want to spend the next years with him...

So we would like to treat him with stereotactic radiotherapy.

The cost of radiotherapy alone WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS is £13,000

In addition, there will be the costs of control ultrasound visits, computed tomography before radiotherapy. We hope that the treatment will be without complications.

Unfortunately, we do not have such funds for treatment...

RADIOTHERAPY CAN GIVE US MORE YEARS OF LIFE

WITHOUT IT WE HAVE WEEKS, MAYBE A FEW MONTHS.

We will be grateful for any help in treating Misiek, so that he can enjoy walks by the sea, in the forest, in the mountains even longer.
