On Thursday night, our neighbor Mike was woken up by his dogs trying to alert him about his home being on fire. Mike had left a space heater on for his dogs in another room that started the fire. He had 8 dogs inside his home that were trying to stay warm during the winter storm. Mike unfortunately lost his home and 4 other dogs that have yet to return. His home since 1984 is no longer a home anymore.

Mike is a veteran and was a METRO bus driver of nearly 20 years. A kind and generous man to all of his neighbors. We are all devastated to see him go through this and hoping we can help in any way we can.
