Michelle Davies unexpectedly passed away May 7, 2023, leaving her family without a way to pay for funeral expenses and for her disabled husband and two daughters to support themselves.
Michelle Davies was born on October 24, 1967, in Salt Lake. At 4 years old her family moved to Aurora. Michelle graduated from Sevier high school class of 1985. In school she loved English, reading, and writing stories. In 1986 she went to beauty school to do hair. Michelle was extremely talented at so many things, but one of her greatest skills and gifts was connecting with people. She loved to meet and talk to people and find out their life story. She was always quick with a smile, and her smile could light up even the sunniest of rooms. In 2004 Michelle graduated from Ameritech college with a 4.0 gpa in medical billing and coding. She worked for multiple offices including the hospital and Back on Track Family Chiropractic. For several years, Michelle was active in the Girl Scouts helping young ladies find themselves and become stronger in their own lives. In 2012 she married Marco Castro and had 2 amazing and beautiful daughters who were the loves of her life. She loved being a mother, friend, and cheerleader for her girls. She also loved her nieces and nephews, and wanted them to know how much they meant to her. When Michelle wasn’t working tirelessly for capital one or the foundation, she could be found in her garden or in her kitchen cooking her fabulous food. She loved her Pepsi and her beloved dog Pinky.
Michelle was always one to serve, she joined the Board of Directors of I SEE You! Foundation in 2019 as Community Outreach Coordinator, where she held that title until her unfortunate passing. She was an example of service, love, and a voice for those who did not have one. She was an incredible advocate for suicide prevention.
Michelle leaves behind her wonderful parents, her sister, her brother, her husband, and her 2 teenage daughters.
Michelle was a wonderful friend to those who knew her. Her passing was an unexpected shock to everyone and she will be greatly missed.
We would like to honor Michelle and her legacy and are asking for donations for her funeral arrangements to take the stress off of her teenage daughters. Please donate and help her family. Donations can also be made to her sister's venmo @Jennifer-Witt-5
