It is with great sadness that we learned the passing away of our dear colleague and friend Ms. Melanie Margetanski on Sunday April 4, 2021. She left behind two sons, Joseph and Liam.
Ms. Margetanski joined the STL late 2018. Prior to that, she had worked at the ICTY from 1998 to 2016.
In addition to her being an incredible mother, Melanie was a dedicated and vibrant colleague and a dear friend to many.
We are raising funds to cover any immediate costs and to help her two children, Joseph and Liam, following this tragic and sudden loss.
