Many of you were touched by Nanas light and have already sent love and support to the Cahill family. It has given us invaluable strength to receive those well wishes from so many friends during this unimaginably difficult time. Many others have asked how else they can support us. I am reaching out today to ask for your help through a fundraiser to help with Nanas family and help cover the costs of Nana’s funeral services. 

Nana was an angel among us long before the tragedy that took her on Monday, March 29th. As the soul of the Cahill family, nothing brought her more joy than her kids. And we are all her kids. She is a Mother to 6, Grandmother to 15, Great Grandmother to 8, and a hero and friend to countless more. A loving aunt, sister and daughter. Family meant everything to her and she prepared us for this moment by showing us how to be there for one another. 

Nana opened her heart to everyone, teaching love, compassion, and loyalty while exemplifying strength, hard work, and grace.

She was a role model, a nurse, a comedian, a dancer, and a fearless Queen who touched every person she came in contact with. Always loving and forgiving, welcoming anyone to her heart and home. She was always putting a smile on someone’s face (if she wasn’t flipping you off in the mean time!) A woman who led her life through her faith, while leading our family through everything. Working constantly and taking care of everyone. Always there for anyone and never asking for anything in return. Nana had the power to look at you and see right through you, she knew us all so well. She deserves the best. We want to give her that.
