For Mama Bear, Crystal Reynolds

This GoFundMe account was created for support from friends and family for my mom, Crystal Reynolds. Our family is grateful for any donation toward her hospital expenses.

In 2015, Crystal was diagnosed with vertigo which caused dizziness, headaches, ect. Since then- she has learned to manage the various headaches with over the counter medication and continue living her life up until this time.

Flash forward to May 2022, Crystal had unimaginable headaches that were not getting better as the days continued. Doctor visits assumed it was a sinus infection or covid and was told her symptoms would be better in a weeks times--until symptoms turned to the worst.

As a beach vacation planned with my dad, Sam, got closer she pushed through her pain and wanted to make the trip to Texas for a few weeks happen. In the motorhome, they made it less than 10 hours away from their destination when my dad decided to turn the bus around and head home to tend to Crystal's unbearable head pains. His gut feeling saved her life because just two short days after being back home, Sam sensed that Crystal was not right and rushed her to Yavapai Hospital in Prescott on Wednesday, June 8th. Crystal was rushed to get CT and MRI scans done where the doctors broke the heartwrenching news that she has a brain tumor growing on the right side of her brain that was applying pressure to her left side and causing her pain and discomfort. On Thursday, June 9th, Crystal was transported down to Barrows St. Joesphs, where she has been staying in the critical tower to be monitored and taken care of.

Our family is beyond devasted, heartbroken and shook that we are going through something like this. My dad has been an absolute rock and has been by her side every day. Today, Monday, June 13th, Crystal was taken back for surgery at 10am with wishes for 180 egg rolls and puppy kisses from all the furbabies post-op. At 1 o'clock, Sam received a call that the tumor was half way removed so far and is doing great!

Crystal is beyond loved. We continue to pray for her recovery moving forward.
