Hi guys.
So long story short, I sold my gorgeous Clydie X gelding "Major" earlier in the year to move home to NZ. Ashleigh, a 24yo very kind young lady took him on, and has successfully partnered up with the big boy.
Unfortunately near the start of August, Major was rushed to Werribee Equine Hospital for an emergency surgical operation with suspected colic. This saved his life. However, since then, he has had several moments that require him to be taken to the vet clinic, or vets to be called, injections to be given, treatment, samples to be taken and tested, stabling costs, extra feeding, travel expenses, the surgery itself and every other aspect of upkeep that goes along with something this huge. This is to keep Major alive, and I have wished for so long that I could help Ash. So badly.
The vets aren't 100% sure on what's going on inside his gut, but I know he's in the best hands possible.
So Ashleigh, you're throwing everything you have and even what you don't have at Maj, we all salute you for that. This is being done for you and for Major, I know that times aren't exactly amazing for you at the moment. Financially it is not easy, and the stress caused must be unbearable.
I love them both to bits and I would like to see her back on board the big giant again one day soon.
I hope this takes off and is of help, whatever may come in.
Love,
Manda.
