On July 11th, 2018, 6-month old Maddy Ray was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare form of Pediatric Liver Cancer. Her family, including Mom, Dad, and 3-year old big sister Emma, were devastated, but they, along with Maddy, are ready to fight. On July 13th, Maddy started her chemotherapy which they hope will shrink the tumor enough to perform a liver resection surgery, and ultimately allow Maddy (and her family!) to continue on with a somewhat normal life.

Needless to say, they have a long, tough journey ahead but are blessed with so many family and friends around who love them so much and want to help any way they can.

To that end, this fund is an opportunity to do just that. Money donated will be used primarily for the purposes of providing for Maddy and Emma, especially with the unique care and treatment that Maddy needs to receive (the expert surgeon for resecting her rare tumor resides at Lurie Children's Hospital, which is unfortunately Out of Network insurance). They are deeply appreciative for any help you can provide as they take on this battle with strength, courage, and grace.
