For Maddox's Eye Tumor Surgery

Hi, I'm Maddox, a 9.5 year old MastiffxLabrador mix. I think I'm old but I feel like a puppy inside. I was found on the streets of Ontario, Canada as a puppy in 2015 and adopted into a loving family. That family had to give me up in 2021 because of reasons I don't know and then my current adoptive mum fostered me for a few months. She obviously fell in love with me but couldn't adopt me in 2021 because she had to complete her studies. When she graduated and returned home in May 2022, I was still waiting for her at the shelter. She brought me home with her the very next day, and this time it was for good!

I have lived my best life with her the last couple of years, but this year in 2024, we found out there is a cancer in my right eye. She took me to multiple doctors and I love her for that. But unfortunately, all of them said my right eye needs to be removed before the cancer spreads to my body. So, my mom and I are raising $2,500 to cover the costs of my surgery (schedule for January 2025). My mom is trying really hard to save up but any contribution would really help take the stress off of her.
