For Living Oceans and Water

FLOW est un projet résolument positif et engagé mené par 2 étudiants belges au service de la durabilité de l'eau et des océans, luttant contre le Micro et le macro plastique. Ce défi est traité en résonance avec l’importance et l’urgence de la problématique. Pour y parvenir, trois objectifs spécifiques sont visés : 

_ Collecter des informations sur la présence de macro et microplastiques sur le littoral européen afin de contribuer à la recherche sur leur impact au niveau mondial. Ces informations seront traitées par le laboratoire taraocéan. 

_Rencontrer, dans chacun des pays visités, des acteurs à la recherche de solutions pour lutter contre la pollution des eaux et des océans. 

_Donner une nouvelle visibilité à cette problématique et surtout mettre en avant les solutions existantes et possibles via un film vidéo afin de sensibiliser et d'éveiller le grand public à cette problématique importante et urgente. 

 Au cours du projet, 20 professeurs d'université experts en la matière seront interviewés dans différents pays de l'Union européenne.

FLOW is a resolutely positive and committed project led by 2 Belgian students in service of the sustainability of water and the oceans, fighting against micro and macroplastic. This challenge is treated in resonance with the importance and urgency of the issue.

To achieve this, there are three specific aims:

_ To collect information on the presence of macro and microplastics on the European coastline in order to contribute to research on their impact worldwide. This information will be processed by the taraocean laboratory.

_To meet, in each of the countries visited, actors looking for solutions in the fight against water and ocean pollution. 

_To give new visibility to this issue and above all to highlight existing and possible solutions via a video film in order to raise awareness and awaken the general public to this important and urgent issue. 

 During the project, a total of 20 University professors with expertise on the subject will be interviewed accross different countries all over European Union.
