In loving memory of our amazing Lidia, who recently passed from cancer. Lidia’s lessons of life, delivered through her passion, bravery, love and grace will be with her family and friends to carry us through, always. Sadly, this young family has had to deal with so much cancer, that Lidia’s friends want to help ease the financial costs and impacts that come with this horribly unfair disease and her untimely passing.

Lidia was a passionate fundraiser in Ottawa, Canada - an icon if you will - for Candlelighters and CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario), raising hundreds of thousands of dollars, all for childhood cancer awareness. Gabriella’s Groupies, Journey24K - the Gold Party, galas and auctions were always a success when Lidia was leading the way; even hosting an incredibly successful Journey24K (2018) during a natural disaster and widespread power outage. Lidia’s legacy will continue through the ‘Party Like A Rockstar’ program with the Ottawa Candlelighters, which provides end of treatment gift boxes to children who have completed cancer treatments.

Now is our time to honour our sweet Lidia, by helping support her amazing husband and her three incredible children as they face this unthinkable hardship. Every donation - no matter how big or small - is a generous gift to this family, who must now carry on without their magical wife and mother.
