Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. I have been living with advanced multiple sclerosis (MS) for some time now, and it has progressively affected my ability to care for myself.

My current living situation has become a serious challenge. I’ve been placed in a public long-term care center, but unfortunately, they simply cannot meet the specialized needs that my condition requires. The care I deserve and desperately need isn’t available in this setting, nor is it available in any other private or public facility in this province.

Because of the severity of my MS, I need personalized, compassionate caregiving services that can address my unique medical needs and provide the attention that a public facility cannot offer. The care that I need is beyond what the center can provide, and it is absolutely critical for my well-being that I receive private, one-on-one assistance.

The financial burden of securing this care is beyond what I can manage on my own, which is why I am turning to all of you. My monthly income is less than what I pay to live in this facility. I am humbly asking for your support in helping me raise funds to pay for private caregiving services. These funds will help me to maintain the dedicated caregivers who can ensure that I am looked after properly, with the respect, dignity, and individualized care that my condition demands.
