My name is Ronald Gonzales. My family knows firsthand the effects on a child when seeing a parent go through cancer treatment. The fear, confusion, and loneliness a child can feel are real, and they leave marks long after the hospital visits end. I want other kids to have the support and joy we needed in those moments.
That is why I am fundraising for Camp Kesem National. Kesem’s mission to support children through and beyond a parent’s cancer with free, fun-filled creative programs and a lasting community speaks to my heart. Camp gives kids a place to be themselves, to laugh, to heal, and to connect with others who truly understand what they are going through.
Every program Kesem runs offers more than just a week of camp. It gives children lifelong friendships, emotional tools to cope, and memories that replace fear with hope. When a volunteer listens, when a counselor leads a game, or when a child returns year after year, the impact multiplies in ways families carry forward for years.
Please join me in supporting Camp Kesem. Your donation helps make sure kids facing a parent’s cancer have a safe, joyful place to heal and belong. Give what you can today to bring hope and community to children who need it most.
