On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, our dear Tyler tragically lost his life in a workplace accident after falling from a roof. He was just 34 years old. In a single moment, a young family’s world was shattered.

Tyler leaves behind his devoted wife, Kiara (32), and their two beautiful little boys, Harvey (4) and Cohen (3). Harvey and Cohen have lost the most loving, caring, hands-on daddy who was the centre of their world. Kiara has lost her soulmate, the absolute love of her life and partner in every sense.

Tyler was an incredibly hard worker, a deeply loving husband and an extraordinary father. Everything he did was for his family. He worked tirelessly to build a secure, stable and rewarding future for Kiara and their boys. One filled with love, opportunity, and presence. That life and those dreams have been tragically cut short.

Now, Kiara is facing the unimaginable. She is grieving the sudden loss of her husband while raising two very young boys who are also trying to understand why their daddy isn’t coming home. She is navigating profound grief while also carrying the weight of fear and uncertainty about the future during this incredibly fragile and heartbreaking time.

This fundraiser has been created to support Kiara and her boys as they begin the long journey of healing, providing stability, time and care as they navigate life ahead without Tyler.

Funds raised will help provide Kiara with the time to remain at home with Harvey and Cohen for as long as possible. The funds will also be used so they can make use of support services, such as counselling, and managing day-to-day living needs as they navigate life without him. The fundraiser will also help begin an education nest egg, laying the foundations for the boys’ future education and honouring the hopes Tyler and Kiara shared for their children.

Tyler was a truly wonderful person who was loved by so many. He was generous, funny, kind and endlessly supportive to everyone around him. He has left an immeasurable hole in the lives of his family, friends, and community. He will be missed forever.

In an extraordinary final act of generosity, Tyler was a registered organ donor. Through this selfless gift, his major organs have gone on to save or significantly improve the lives of six recipients, including two children. In the midst of unimaginable grief, Tyler’s legacy now lives on through the lives he has helped save.

No amount of money could ever replace Tyler. He was the protector, the provider, and the safe presence in his family’s life. He was the one who fixed things, carried the load, and made everything feel secure. A life without him feels frightening and impossible to comprehend. This support will give Kiara and her boys the breathing space they desperately need, time to grieve, time to heal, and time to slowly rebuild their lives.
