Hi my name is Leina, I'm fundraising for my husband's final expenses and memorial.

Ken has been battling with paranoid schizophrenia with delusion since 2016. On February 13th, 2022 we lost that battle when he ended his life.

He was a loving husband, father and friend. Ken had a beautiful smile, gentle soul, quick jokes, brilliant mind and always see things in the best light. He showed grace and compassion when he rarely received it himself. He supported us for a full year to allow me to go to school and do what I love today.

Life has not been kind to Ken. He's had more than 23 major surgeries in his life since birth. "I'm a patchwork of a human being" he said to me once. Ken had this light in him that despite all of his physical challenges, shined with every smile. I've painfully watched Paranoid schizophrenia slowly took that light away from him and now his life.

Life was never easy or simple with Ken. When things were good, it was a dream come true. When things were bad, it was a living nightmare. Now he is free of all pains. We will miss all the good times and laughter shared.
