A couple of weeks ago, Father Baker reached out to me about Karina White. She is a home-schooling mother of five who lost her father unexpectedly the Sunday before Thanksgiving.  She is a devout Catholic that regularly attends Saint Mary’s in Nashville with her children. However, they occasionally attend Mass at Saint Rose as they live in Murfreesboro. Her children are between the ages of 3 and 18. I got to meet Karina recently after a daily Mass and my heart breaks for her and her sweet children. Her father had moved down from Montana to help with the kids, household responsibilities, and expenses, and she had planned to try to finish her degree this Spring with his help. Apparently, he was amazing with the kids and an immense help. She was truly heartbroken with his passing and very overwhelmed. I cannot imagine the pain that may overcome a mother in such times.

She will be selling her home to try to lower her expenses. However, she is in need of help for staples, food, and expenses that come with raising five young children.
 
In the meantime, please keep her and her children in your prayers. Please share any ideas that you may have to wrap her and her family in love and to help them out during the holidays.
