For Karen Environmental and Social Action Network

We are Year 12 Karen students from Melbourne (Wyndham City Council). After learning about the environmental issues in Karen State, we are very keen to raise funds for KESAN.

Karen Environmental and Social Action Network (KESAN) is a community-based, non-governmental and non-profit organisation focuses on enriching the biodiversity and natural environment within Karen State. The organisation works to improve the livelihoods of Karen lands through its incorporation of indigenous voices to ensure the best possible outcome for all.

The funding will go towards providing knowledge and education as the organisation guides and encourages the youth and people of all backgrounds to develop an appreciation of the natural environment and get involved in its preservation. We hope that everyone will support this great cause.
