Hello Everyone,
I am setting this up to help my good friend Julie Dalton. We have been friends for years and met as co-workers when I lived in San Clemente and we worked in Pediatrics. I was also her dog/cat nanny and we became very close. We bonded over our love of all things British and she was lucky enough to meet a wonderful British gent Barry, they fell in love & married. They both retired and in 2017 moved across the pond to his hometown of Knaresborough Enland, beautiful and idylllic. After a short time they bought a house and made it into a beautiful home with an English garden. It was at this time Jules began to have bouts of falling & other odd things she didn't normally experience. As it became worse she had many tests and misdiagnoses she was finally correctly diagnosed with ALS. And if that wasn't bad enough she has the worse and quickly progressing type. She has gone from living her dream to living a nightmare with a terminal illness, I can't even fathom! The reason for this account is to help with the building of an outside ramp, which had already begun, an electric wheelchair and setting up the inside of the house to accomodate her. Because she is not a British citizen, she does not qualify for all assistance. Any amount you can spare would be so greatly appreciated by them, and me.....thank you!!!
