For Jovana’s victory

We are raising funds for Jovana Jovanović (born 1997).

In 2013, Jovana was diagnosed with malignant melanoma (C43.9 Malignant Melanoma, unspecified). Following the diagnosis, she underwent re-excision surgery, and the disease remained in remission for the next eight years, with regular medical check-ups.

In 2022, a relapse occurred, accompanied by metastatic changes in the lungs, gallbladder, and intestines. After undergoing surgery, Jovana received biological therapy, which was initially effective. However, the disease relapsed again, with further metastases detected in the intestines, ovaries, brain, and lungs.

She was subsequently included in immunotherapy treatment, which unfortunately did not yield positive results, leading to further disease progression.

The current treatment plan involves enrolling in a clinical trial for a next-generation biological therapy with a higher efficacy rate for treating brain tissue. This therapy must be administered as soon as possible at a clinic abroad.

Given the high cost of this treatment, we are appealing for support from compassionate individuals to help raise the necessary funds as quickly as possible.

The funds will be used to cover the costs of specialist consultations, laboratory analyses, hospital treatment, travel expenses, and accommodation during the course of treatment.
