My husband, Josue Lopez, has been fighting for his life for the last two years with pancreatic cancer. Since the diagnosis, he dedicated everything he had to fighting this painful cancer. After a week in the hospital, Josue let go and returned home to God on February 27. Despite our devastating loss, we know that he is now at peace in a better place and that the pain is over.

Josue was a great husband and an amazing dad to our ten-year-old daughter, Evelia. He was a man of God. He was selfless and made sure that everyone around him was doing well first, even until his last moments with us. It has been difficult to see him go from a master carpenter to fighting cancer. Josue’s determination was inspiring.
