Jonathan has walked through more loss than any child should ever have to face.

Jonathan has now lost both of his parents — his beautiful mom a few years ago, and now his dad, Jay, who fought so hard and loved even harder.

Jay’s greatest pride — truly, his heartbeat — was being Jonathan’s dad. He lit up when he talked about him. Every plan, every hope, every prayer somehow circled back to Jonathan’s future. Even when his body was tired, his love for his son never wavered. It was steady. Fierce. Unbreakable.

As we gather to honor Jay’s life, many have asked what they can do.

Instead of flowers, we are asking for donations toward Jonathan’s future — to help support him with the things Jay hoped for: stability, education, opportunities, and the kind of support every growing child deserves.

No amount is too small. Every bit is a gift of love, a reminder that he is not walking this road alone, and a way to carry Jay’s love forward.
