Dear Friends,

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear co-worker, Shakita Wiley. Her son, Jaylen, was recently involved in a horrific car accident that left him with multiple serious injuries. He is currently undergoing extensive medical treatment and faces a long road to recovery.

Jaylen is a remarkable young man and a gifted multi-sport athlete. Over the years, he has earned numerous accolades in football, basketball, and track. Most recently, he proudly achieved 2nd place in the state track finals—a true testament to his hard work, talent, and determination both on and off the field. His passion for sports and his drive to excel have inspired teammates, coaches, friends, and family alike.

Now, Jaylen’s biggest race is ahead—his fight to heal and regain his strength. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for Jaylen and his family. Between emergency medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the time away from work needed to care for him, the financial burden is overwhelming.

We are asking our community to come together to support Jaylen and his family during this critical time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward medical bills, therapy, and helping the family focus on what matters most—Jaylen’s recovery.
