On November 30, 2025, a mother, 1.5 hours away, got the worst call of her life. Her daughter, 10, calling to say that her daddy would not wake up. At that moment their whole life got turned upside down.

Paislee is a beautiful and bright young lady, who's favorite person, and best friend was her daddy, Jay Reiber. On the night of November 29, 2025, Jay was out shoveling after his hometown was hit by a snow storm. After not feeling well and having pain in his shoulder, Jay went in for the night. Figuring that after dropping Paislee off on Sunday, he would have himself checked out at the hospital. Suddenly, tragically and without pre-existing conditions, Jay passed away that night.

Jay was known as a dedicated father, a brother, and a son. Additionally, he was a loyal employee to McDonalds, where he worked for almost 30 years, and after time was promoted to managing his own store in Stratford.

This go fund me has been started so that we can collect funds to assist and support Paislee in these upcoming months, and for Jay's funeral expenses.

At this time, a funeral has not be planned but an autopsy is underway. Any dontions are welcomed and greatly appreciated at this very difficult time.
