In Memory of Jackson - help alleviate C.J.'s vet costs

UPDATE: After a hard fought battle, Jackson succumbed to post-surgery complications on Monday, April 28th, 2025 at 3:13pm. The total of his veterinary bills exceeds $25,000 which this GoFundMe is seeking to help alleviate for C.J. and her family. C.J. is truly thankful for your support in this grievous time.

ORIGINAL POST:

This GoFundMe was started by friends of C.J. Astronomo and her beloved dog Jackson. Last week Jackson underwent two emergency surgical procedures to address his intussusception and related necrotic tissue damage. These procedures are very costly and C.J. has exhausted her avenues for financial aid. At this moment the total cost has not been assessed as Jackson is still in emergency care fighting for his life. We have utmost faith that he will pull through if given the life-saving care that he requires.

We appeal to you as friends of C.J. and Jackson to support his cause in any way you can. If you have the capacity to donate to this GoFundMe, and/or share it to other friends and colleagues of C.J. and Jackson through your social media platforms, we hope that you will do so. Any contribution will help Jackson in his recovery, and ease C.J.'s financial burden for this emergency situation.
