Donation protected
Jacklyn Mastromauro (Jackie), age 29, born September 24th, 1987 in Staten Island, NY passed away on the island of her birth on April 5th, 2017. Jacklyn, beloved daughter of Catherine Piraino and Vito & Gina Mastromauro of Staten Island grieve her death along with her children, Joshua & Julianna, aunts and uncles Joanne & Tom Miller, Susan & Bill Janicki, Kim & Greg Ness, John & Mina Piraino, Louis & Carol Macchia and numerous cousins and their children. She was the granddaughter of Inga & Bill Guli and the late John & Mary Piraino and Rose & Vito Mastromauro.
Jacklyn loved her family fiercely, especially her mother, father & two children. Her heart was at the beach where she loved to watch the dolphins. In her early twenties, she had a passion for working with children with Autism at the Eden School while pursuing her degree at the College of Staten Island. She was a graduate of Curtis High School. Jacklyn was a gifted artist who loved her Nana’s garden and enjoyed drawing and painting. She loved shopping and connecting with friends and was an avid Jet’s fan.
Jacklyn’s heart is a loss to the world and one that can never be replaced. Anyone who met Jackie fell in love with her radiance; her wily dry humor, infectious smile and sparkling eyes. When she walked into the room she lit it up. As parents, Catherine and Vito & Gina saw her and all she brought to the world taken away by a debilitating addiction to drugs; one that Jacklyn and her family worked for years to heal, which unfortunately led to her untimely death. Her spirit is now released into the arms of the Lord and she is finally free of addiction.
We are greatly thankful for your donations big or small to be used directly for the expenses and education costs of Jackie's two children. Your contributionsister, kind wishes and condolences are deeply appreciated by the family at this difficult time
