I am reaching out with a heart full of sorrow. A beloved sister in our community has been placed into palliative care as she reaches the final stage of her battle with cancer. The doctors have done all they can. Her time is near, and her young children are preparing to face life without their mothers love, comfort, and guidance.

This family is carrying a pain that no words can fully describe. Her children are trying to hold on to the precious moments they have left, while also facing fear, uncertainty, and the heartbreaking reality of losing their mum. In this moment of immense difficulty, we are trying to provide them with financial support and some stability during a time when their world feels like it is falling apart.

I am humbly asking our community to come together. Any amount you give, no matter how small, will be a sadaqah jariyah for you and a lifeline for these children as they navigate grief far beyond their years.

The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Judgment.” Your generosity can bring comfort, mercy, and real help to a family drowning in sorrow.
