For Heidi. Mom, Sister, daughter, friend

As you know, my mom's life was not easy, but she always had a smile, a witty comeback, a joke, or a story to lighten the day.

Although mom did have a small life insurance policy, it wasnt going to come into maturity for another year and a half.

My mom passed on 02/16/22, today is 02/20/22 and I have to secure final arrangements. The cost of a cremation is around $2500 with all the fees and documentation. The funeral home needs this up front to complete this service and receive her into their facillity.

If you know of any state funding that can cover these costs as mom was on disability and passed from COVID, please send me a private message. Mom also had other expenses that I will use the funds to help pay off. If there is anything remaining after funeral costs, settling finances, and moving moms belongins and cats, the remaining funds from this go fund me campaign will be donated to a kitty shelter. Animals, especially kitties, were her passion.

Heidi Owen was a complacated, unique, wonderful person. Her leaving this world has left a whole in mine and my family larger than the universe as well as all those she loved including her friends and adopted family.

Our family is devastated over this loss, but have comfort knowing mom is now in heaven free of pain, regret, anguish, and sorrow. I'm confident mom is sitting on a tropical beach surrounded by all those that have passed before her, holding Heather, her first born's hand, as they have finally been reunited after 44 years apart.

My mom's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread in the Red Woods. Due to her COVID status we are unable to have certain memorial services but I will be arranging a service in the coming weeks or months. I will notify everyone as soon as we have a date and plans in place.
