It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of Corporal Wright, a loving husband, devoted father, and proud Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Corporal . Robert dedicated his life to serving and protecting others, but his greatest joy came from being a husband to Heather and a father to their beautiful 16-month-old baby girl.

Just recently, Heather and Robert celebrated 11 years of marriage a milestone they shared with the daughter they waited so long and prayed so hard for. Tragically, Robert was only able to spend 16 months with the daughter he adored. His sudden passing has left Heather to navigate life without her soulmate and the sole provider for their family.

As you can imagine, this loss has brought overwhelming grief and uncertainty. Heather is now raising their baby girl on her own and facing a future filled with emotional and financial hardship.

As a close friend to both Heather and Robert, I witnessed firsthand the deep love and sacrifices Robert made for his family. For those of you who know Heather, you know she is one of the kindest, most humble souls always full of grace and never one to ask for anything. Seeing her in so much pain is absolutely heartbreaking.
