Hello!
My name is Kenna and I'm a Dutch immigrant who fled from my family in the Netherlands because of their violent and toxic behaviour. I have thousands of Euros in debt and I can't pay them, because I depend on the charity of my friends to survive. I am a trans woman and I can't afford any of the lifesaving treatment I need for my transition either. I can't afford Oestrogen, or Spiractin, nor can I eat healthily either really... I am very stressed.
Right now, my trauma is catching up to me, and I am not functioning properly. Between constant accidental injuries, nightmares that make resting nearly impossible and overwhelming stress and anxiety due to my financial state and interpersonal drama, I can barely catch a breath. It’s a lot better than it was originally, due to the kind help of people who donated to my campaign, but unfortunately, I’m not out of the woods yet.
Please, help me get Silky up here so she can help take care of me and so she can have better access to healthcare as well. I’ll benefit because I’ll save money, eat more healthily, be able to rest if I get injured or sick, and I’ll get to cuddle Silky whenever I want. Silky benefits due to being in a place where she will be able to find a job, will have better access to healthcare and also because living with a partner will make her much happier.

Hi. My name is Silky. I'm a 24-year-old trans, autistic woman from South Africa*.
My partner, who lives in the UK, is trying her best to recover from extensive injury and trauma at the hands of her bio family. She's receiving medication for her mental health conditions, but she hasn't had any therapy in around 3 months and she's genuinely struggling to survive on her own.
My partner, Kenna, is a migrant who fled from the Netherlands to escape her home situation. She needs support for her mental health conditions that she is slowly receiving from the NHS, so I want to move there and do my best to support her in person. She's currently classified as unfit to work and surviving off of her benefits, but she doesn't have a support network she can readily access.
Kenna generally relied on her GoFundMe to avoid becoming homeless in the past and afford food as best she can between her expenses on rent and utilities. She also needs to rely on charity from her friends to the point that she’s thousands of pounds in debt. She's under a lot of extra stress that is exacerbating her mental health conditions. I would like to physically be there for her so that I can help look after her physical and emotional needs.
In the interest of transparency, this move would benefit me as well. I am not functioning optimally due to several mental health conditions and leftover trauma from my own childhood. I am currently limping along from month to month, usually having to ration food where I can and budget for tiny expenses like buying a blanket to keep me warm in winter. I have managed to get support through the state, as I am now receiving heavily discounted medication and psychiatric services through the state hospital near me. This has greatly improved my ability to afford food and other necessities like transport to and from appointments with doctors and psychiatrists, but unfortunately, the improvement in my condition is still rather slow. Being able to live with Kenna would help me relax more, and it would mean I could enter a job market that isn’t saturated with applicants.

Here's a short breakdown of what we need the money for:
1. 1330 GBP for Kenna's citizenship test.
2. 1000 GBP for travel-related expenses such as plane tickets, visas, TB tests, train tickets, etc.
3. 670 GBP for the sake of "savings" or unexpected expenses that occur as I will lose my benefits
4. 2000 GBP for a new apartment (deposit and rent)
*Kenna and I share this account. This has both perspectives on the situation as it stands. It is much simpler to use one account and have one GoFundMe that explains the situation rather than directing and redirecting people from one to the other
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I would appreciate it if you could share this GoFundMe with someone else, and I am very grateful if you decide to donate any money. I appreciate your time and attention]
