For Hatay

My name is Liza Aygül and I’m 16 years old. My parents moved to the States from Hatay, a province in southeastern Turkey, located along the border of Syria. This region has been devastated and countless communities, neighborhoods, cities, and families have been affected as a result of the earthquakes these past few weeks. Over 20,000 people have died in Turkey and hundreds of thousands of people within the region of my hometown are left without homes, food, and other key resources necessary to recover. This fundraiser hopes to support the families in Hatay and provide them with key necessities during this dire time.
