Help Us Lay Freddy Watson to Rest
November 23, 1967 – July 26, 2025
️ A Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend — Forever Missed ️
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Frederick “Freddy” Watson, who left this world on July 26, 2025, after a long, painful battle with cancer. He was only 57 years old.
Freddy wasn’t just a man — he was a light. The kind of person who could make you laugh even on your darkest day. The one who showed up when no one else did. The life of the party. The protector. The soft-hearted jokester. The brother who made you feel safe, the dad who made you feel loved, and the uncle everyone loved being around.
Freddy loved sitting around the fire with his family, belting out karaoke, talking hockey (especially about the Boston Bruins), and enjoying simple joys — a cold drink, a warm laugh, a good story. His joy was infectious, his loyalty unshakable, and his heart bigger than life.
Even while fighting cancer for over five years, Freddy never stopped loving, giving, and showing up for his people. That’s who he was.
Now that he’s gone, our family is left with the pain of saying goodbye — and the responsibility of giving him the farewell he deserves.
We Need Your Help
We are asking for help to raise $3,000 to cover the costs of Freddy’s funeral and cremation. His sister Shirley is taking care of arrangements, and his sister Georgina will be the official recipient of the donations and handling the financial needs.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us honour a man who meant the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, please help by sharing this campaign and keeping Freddy and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
We are overwhelmed with grief, but so full of love for a man who gave so much of himself to others. Thank you for helping us carry him home.
