For Fox Sake let's help Camilla

Camilla came from the UK for a holiday,  but fell in love with Australia and a Kiwi horseman!

She spent her time initially working for Darley and then started riding trackwork in Scone Race Club, riding for successful racehorse trainer Rod Northam. While smashing out rides she still managed to collect lots of Pokemons on her way around the track

Camilla and Gus later set up home in Upper Rouchel  where they established a very successful horse breaking business Gus Kelly Equine Services, of which Camilla is the Chief.

Her dog Zeus and horse Maximus Almighty became part of their family and Camilla got involved in the local Hunt Club and also spent a lot of her time eventing with 'Maxi' and later 'Smithy' became part of the Eventing team.  Between all her countryside expeditions, she never lost her love of beautiful shoes and French designers!

In September 2017, Gus and Camilla married in the beautiful English countryside and had a major knees up with their friends and family to celebrate their union and the excitement of the future.

But just prior to Christmas 2017, Camilla had a routine medical examination which shattered their dreams and the life path they were going on…..

This last year has been filled with radiation and chemotherapy treatments, all whilst she continued to maintain her love and passion for horse-riding, especially her boy Maximus Almighty.  Her passion has rubbed off on her friends and the For Fox Sake Eventing team was formed. We have had many stories and laughs along the way!

Just a few short weeks ago, Camilla received some bad news with regards to her diagnosis and suddenly she can no longer ride her beloved horses and instead has had to focus on her aggressive treatment regime. As her friends from the Thoroughbred, Polo, Eventing and Hunting Community, we know how heartbreaking this must be.

Her beautfiul mum Fiona has come to visit and care for Camilla. Most importantly, Camilla wants to go home to be with her family for Christmas this year. Because of her condition, economy class is not an option which leaves the more expensive but much more comfortable Business Class and First Class.

We want to fly Camilla home so that Gus and she can spend time together with Camilla's family and be comfortable when getting her treatment. Gus is dedicating all of his time to his wife which means work has had to go on hold.

So, if we as their friends and Australian family can take away an unnecessary stress, and provide them with financial resources, let’s help where we can.

Whatever you can give will be very kind, thoughtful and much appreciated at this tough time.

With much gratitude,
