One of the strongest spirits in New York City, Erin Robbins, lost her battle with leukemia on Monday, January 5, 2026.

She was many things: a mother. A loyal friend. A dedicated worker. A diehard Knicks fan. My little sister. But she was also a fierce fighter.

Erin fought hard from the day she was diagnosed on April 1, 2025 until her last breath. She didn’t quit and never stopped being herself — no matter how hard it got. Erin always had a strong personality and a stronger determination. Anyone who knew her knew how much strength and will she carried with her every day. And those qualities only grew stronger over the course of her fight. She kept going until her body simply couldn’t go any further.

Now we’re trying to honor her final requests. Erin was clear about what mattered to her, and we’re doing our best to give her the goodbye she wanted — while also covering the real costs that come with end-of-life arrangements. After months of treatment, the financial strain is real, and this fundraiser is meant to help cover funeral/cremation costs, memorial expenses, and outstanding bills connected to her passing.

We’re holding Erin’s celebration of life on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at a private event space rental that was meaningful to her. Details will be shared soon.

We also know many people have busy, complicated lives and may not be able to attend in person. For some, this page may be the only way to show love and respect for Erin — and that matters.

How funds will be used (transparency)



Funds raised will be used to pay vendors directly and/or reimburse documented expenses for:

• Cremation / funeral home costs

• Memorial service venue rental (approx. $3,000)

• Technical support for the service (audio/visual, livestream for family who cannot attend—including her son who is deployed overseas—and equipment deposits)

• Transportation, printing, and other memorial-related expenses

• Outstanding bills connected to Erin’s end-of-life care and final arrangements

If there are remaining funds after these expenses are covered, they will be used toward related outstanding bills and/or direct support for Erin’s children/family, consistent with the purpose of this fundraiser.
