Tragic Loss in Fiery Crash- Help Erica Lay Her Father to Rest
On early morning Friday, July 29th, Erica's father was tragically killed in a horrific accident in Lake Alfred, Florida. According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, a silver BMW and a dump truck collided head-on around 5:45am. Both drivers swerved in an attempt to avoid each other, but the vehicles struck and were pushed off the road under a group of trees- where the BMW caught fire. Her father was trapped inside the car and died at the scene.
To make things even heavier, Erica recently gave birth to twin boys and is currently not working. She is overwhelmed emotionally, mentally, and financially and the weight of this tragedy has hit her hard.
I started this GoFundMe to help ease that burden. The funds will go toward:
- Urgent travel expenses so Erica can fly to Florida with her kids
- Lodging, transportation, and food while she's there
- Funeral and burial costs
