For Elysian Art & Music & Meliora Festival to rise again!

To our beloved community,

With hearts full of dreams, we set out to create something special, a festival built by the community, for the community. We poured our hearts and souls, our passion, time, and resources into bringing this vision to life from scratch with our bear hands, but unfortunately, we faced unexpected challenges that led us to fall short of the necessary attendance. As a result, we’ve been left with significant financial losses that threaten not only the future of Elysian and the festival but also the hard work and spirit of everyone involved.

We are aware there are concerns within the community about outstanding payments and we want to be transparent what’s been going on since the last edition of Meliora Festival.

We want to be honest about where we stand. We’ve been working tirelessly to recover, and yes, it’s been slow. The current global context has made it tough for event organizers everywhere, our industry is facing major obstacles, with rising costs and financial challenges that just don’t add up considering ticket prices. On top of that, government support remains out of reach, adding further setbacks to an already difficult process.

Despite it all, we are committed to making things right and make this work, for us, but for all of you as well, because we all deserve a space to be ourselves.

Every single person owed money will be paid. We are not running away from this, and we are not afraid to be vulnerable in front of our community. As immigrants running a small, independent business with no sponsors or financial aid, we don’t have the safety nets that others might, and we are navigating this the best we can.

More than ever, we rely on our community, so here we are asking for help.
