Thank you, everyone, for your kindness and generosity. Sadly, my aunt Ellen passed away on Thanksgiving Day. As with life, death is unpredictable, and we truly never have enough time with our loved ones. Everything happened so quickly; I'm still in shock.

Kay and I have started this new campaign to make it clear that we are now asking for help with Ellen's final expenses and services, so friends and family know exactly how their support will help.

Ellen was the kind of person who lifted up everyone around her. She was humble and gentle, always quick to smile. Ellen was a talented artist, a champion of animals, and a supporter of charities. She was the person you could call at 2 am, and she would actually show up when you needed her. She did so much for the people in her life, and her kindness touched everyone who knew her.
