For Edward W. Broeker...

Hi Everyone and all of my friends and loved ones,

Unfortunately, my friend, my roommate, Mr. Edward W. Broeker Jr., has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which has metastasized and spread to all parts of his body. For example, 3 to 6 months to live without chemotherapy, or he could prolong his life for another six months if he decides to go with chemotherapy which is the route that Mr. Edward W. Broeker chose to take so he can enjoy the final months of his life.

I want to set up go to fund for up to 20K if possible and help Edward Broeker Jr. pay off his medical bills and memorial service. Mr. Edward W. Broeker's last wish is to go on a Hawaiian round-trip cruise so he can visit Pearl Harbor, where his Dad did several years of military service there. His Dad stayed at Pearl Harbor for three years to clean up all the damage that WWII caused on December 7th, 1941. His Dad went to Saipan, Okinawa and Japan during WWII, and he was honorably discharged. Mr. Edward Broeker would love to visit Hawaii since his Dad and Mom never got the chance to visit Hawaii after WWII for different reasons. Therefore, this is Mr. Edward W. Broeker's final dying wish to visit Hawaii to see the USS Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor to show respect for his Dad for the last time.

A brief history of Mr. Edward W. Broeker's life is that he graduated from California School for the Deaf in Riverside, Class of 1980 and enrolled in Riverside City College. He took a job at US Marines Corp Logistic Base, working there for five years. He resigned from US Marines Corp and went to work for George Air Force as a private contractor for three years. Then, he moved to Oregon as a Utility Janitor/floor crew for ABM for 15 years. Mr. Edward W. Broeker medically retired from ABM. As of recent, he started working for Amazon, but the doctor ordered him to resign so he could focus on his chemotherapy while he only had a few months left to live.

Mr. Edward W. Broeker is an avid reader who loves to read military books or any related history to the military. He loves to ride his motorcycle Harley Davidson and has established a deaf motorcycle group: Harley Davidson Road King. He often travels around Victorville, Palmdale and all parts of Southern California; and loves the outdoors. He often goes camping and swims in cold rivers and lakes.

Mr. Edward W. Broeker is a proud Christian who knows Jesus as his savior. He became a Christian when a friend of his, Adrian, witnessed him, and Mr. Edward Broeker accepted Jesus as his savior. Mr. Edward W. Broeker's favorite biblical verse is Roman 5:6-11. He attended Greater Portland Baptism church under Renowned Dr. Bruce Kelly, who has a church in Portland. Mr. Edward W. Broeker will go to be with the Lord on that day when Jesus calls him home for his final resting place. We will all miss him, but we will be glad and not sad knowing that he will be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
